All prices exclude VAT at the current UK rate. Stripe's own transaction fees apply separately to payments — typically 1.5% + 20p for UK cards.

/compare The honest comparison

The real cost of getting a small business online.

We aren't cheap because we're skimping — we're cheap because we're not paying for City Centre office space and a marketing team. Here's what it actually costs to get a business website with bookings, year one versus ongoing.

These are popular scheduling tools but they don't come with a website — you'd still need to build or commission one separately, which is usually where the real cost sits.

Figures are rough guides for comparison, based on public pricing at time of writing, excluding Stripe / card processing fees and VAT. Web designer costs vary by region and scope; we've used typical UK freelance rates for a small-business site.

/faq Before you ask

Things we get asked a lot.

Do I own the software? +

You own your data absolutely — it's yours at any time via exports. The software itself is licensed to you for as long as you're on a hosting plan. If you stop hosting with us, we'll provide a data export and your domain is yours to point elsewhere. We don't hold your business hostage.

What if I need custom features? +

The £899 covers the core system as-is, tailored to your business. If you need something significantly new — SMS reminders, a loyalty program, integration with Xero, a custom report — we quote that work separately based on complexity. Most small tweaks during and after setup are included.

Who handles Stripe fees? +

Stripe's fees go directly to Stripe — we don't see a penny of your transactions. Typical UK card fees are 1.5% + 20p per successful charge. Money lands in your Stripe account and transfers to your bank account as you configure.

What happens if my business grows? +

The price doesn't scale with your usage. More bookings? No problem. More staff logins? No problem. If your traffic ever exceeds what standard hosting can serve, we'll move you to a heavier plan at cost — but that's unlikely unless you're taking tens of thousands of bookings per month.

Can I cancel hosting and keep the site running? +

If you cancel hosting, the live site goes offline at the end of the billing month. You'll get a full data export and a package of the code you can take to another host. Support, backups, and updates stop. Most clients stay on hosting because the £49 is cheaper than moving.

Is this UK-based? +

Yes. Built in the UK. Hosted on UK servers. Support during UK office hours. VAT invoices you can actually put through your accounts. We only sell to UK-registered businesses.

How do payments work for the setup fee? +

50% deposit on signing (£449.50 + VAT), 50% on go-live. We invoice via BACS transfer with NET 14 terms. Monthly hosting starts the day your site goes live.
